justice in motion | COde
Involved in the initial conception, storyboarding, research & development phase, creation and tour of this explosive six person outdoor physical theatre piece CODE from Justice in Motion exploring the issues of county lines and knife crime.
Set on a large council estate-esque set and featuring parkour, trials bike, skateboarding and live rap, the show has toured both in the UK and internationally with support from Arts Council England and the UK government.
I play the role of the County Lines gang leader ‘JP’, as well as facilitating workshops in physical theatre and parkour with young people in touring locations.
Polka Theatre | The Boy with wings
Parkour consultant and choreographer for the stage adaptation of Lenny Henry’s ‘The Boy With Wings’ at the Polka Theatre, London.
“George’s extensive knowledge of parkour and his experience in theatre and performance really helped the cast get confident and comfortable delivering high octane parkour sequences.
George also helped us curate a fight scene that incorporated parkour to a brilliant standard, it’s truly one of the standout moments of the whole show.
I’d recommend George’s talent and would consider him a long term collaborator - his patience, care and ability to create a unique spectacle means we were able to bring something different to our audiences and to the theatre repertoire.”
- Daniel Bailey, Director of ‘The Boy With Wings’
